Growing up

I was always interested in the English countryside. I read Jane Austen novels and fanned over period drama films made by Ivory and Merchant. I was different to the kids in my class, I was far more interested in country walks and afternoon tea in a manor house. Coming from a mixed household, there weren't always people who looked like me in these kinds of environments. I am grateful to my parents for encouraging me and for my blissful ignorance towards the social barriers. The current climate is changing, but I can empathise that it can still feel daunting to go to these places. Maybe you’re the only one in your friends/family circle that enjoys these things. Maybe you don’t think you ‘look like’ someone who ventures to the countryside. Maybe accessibility is a factor for you (it is often overlooked) and you’d like to learn more about accessible routes for exploring. Or maybe you just don’t feel confident yet, but you’ve always wanted to try your hand at clay shooting, horse riding, country estate walking tours, high tea etc. I want to help. But how can I help you?

Let’s talk!
